Weather Planet is a whole new way to keep track of weather changes in your area. Unlike most weather applications on iPhone, Weather Planet gives you an out-of-this-world view of the weather in your area. It displays the earth from miles up in space and uses images from weather satellites to constantly update the clouds over your area. You got thousands of cities and towns to choose from, so you can keep track of the latest weather changes and see those clouds coming from above the space.

What I like about this app is the fact that it helps me keep track of the weather easily on my phone while get an overview of what weather conditions will be ahead. The addition of constellation labels is a plus, specially if you are a fan of astronomy. The app comes with a lot of settings which you can configure to make it suit your particular needs. You can choose what information you want to see on your screen, which is a big plus.

All in all, if you are looking for a whole new (geeky I might add) way to track the weather on your iPhone, Weather Planet is a must try. Who needs a weather report when you can have it all in your pocket with Weather Planet.
