The iPhone is just like any regular computer. It does have a processor, RAM, and flash storage. Processes are always running in the background whether you are paying attention. You can’t use CTRL+ALT+DELETE on your iPhone to bring up a task manager. But apps such as SYS Activity Manager Plus could give you more information on what’s happening on your smartphone.

The SYS Activity Manager+ tells you about the apps and processes running in the background. It could help you clean your device’s memory to speed it up. You could also monitor battery life and close apps that are running in the background. This system manager gives you a lot of information about your storage and battery, so you can diagnose issues your phone is experiencing easier. It covers network information as well.

The SYS Activity Manager Plus has a beautiful user interface. It offers a lot of useful information on what’s happening on your iPhone. The app is a bit unstable on iOS 6 but we did not have major issues with it on iOS 5. The idea is pretty solid though.
