If you are planning to start a family or just relocate to a whole new neighborhood to provide your kids with a better living experience, you want to make sure the neighborhood you are moving into is safe. It’s important for all parents to make sure their kids are not in neighborhoods that have sex offenders around. I don’t question that some people could change over time, but I would rather not take chances with my own children. Sex Offenders Search is a cool little app for iPhone that lets you find out about sex offenders in specific neighborhoods. So you can know all the facts before making the move.
All you have to do is turn your iPhone on and use the GPS feature to find out whether there are sex offenders around your area. You can also search by zip code, so you are not limited in that regard. Sex offenders will be displayed on a map on your iPhone and you can find their picture, name, address, and offenses that they have committed. You can also view the information using your Safari browser.
This app has a couple of caveats. It currently does not show California information though that could change any minute. No international information is available but the developers are promising that could be rectified in the near future. All in all, if you are looking for an app that helps you do better research about your future neighborhood and keep your children safe from sex offenders, then Sex Offenders Search is the app for you.
