The iPhone can be a lot of things. But did you know that you could use your phone to take remote control of your Macs and PCs? That’s exactly what you can do with LogMeIn. Whether you have a Windows machine or a Mac that you want to gain access to from your iPhone, LogMeIn has you covered. There are plenty of applications for such an app. You can use it for remote training, repairs, and troubleshooting (among other things).
The app is pretty easy to get to work. You can easily create an account at LogMeIn.com. Once there, you have to download the appropriate software for your Windows or Mac. Here is where things get interesting. For the premium service, you will have to pay for an annual subscription, but you an always go with the free option. Once you have chosen your plan, you can use your iPhone app to connect to your computers.
What I like about LogMeIn is the fact that it can keep track of all your passwords. So you won’t have to remember multiple passwords for your computers. I also found operating my computer easy from my iPhone. As easy as it can get on a mobile phone.
Overall, LogMeIn is very easy to use and quite handy if you need to access your computer from a remote location. I have to say, navigating my computer on my phone is not something I would like to do on a consistent basis, but it’s very nice to have the option. LogMeIn (or the pro version) certainly gets the job done.
